Benefits to Discoms: राजस्थान डिस्कॉम्स:

• Availability of cheap solar power at distribution end leading to reduction in power purchase cost and AT&C losses सस्ती सौर ऊर्जा की उपलब्धता से बिजली खरीद लागत और वितरण एवं व्यवसायिक हानियों में कमी।
• Unlike Component A of PM-KUSUM scheme, there is no capping on the solar PV power plant capacity or its installation location पीएम-कुसुम योजना के घटक ए से विपरीत, सौर पावर प्लांट बिजली संयंत्र की क्षमता या इसकी स्थापना स्थान पर कोई बाध्यता नहीं है।
• Reduction in power transmission cost owing to avoided transmission infrastructure as power generation and consumption is at distribution end बिजली उत्पादन और उसकी खपत दोनों उपभोक्ता के नजदीक होने के कारण विद्युत् वितरण ढांचे एवं वितरण हानि में कमी।
• Better RPO compliance translating to savings of around Re 1 per unit (currently borne by Discoms due to shortfall in compliance) बेहतर RPO अनुपालन से प्रति यूनिट लगभग 1 रुपये की बचत होती है (अनुपालन में कमी के कारण वर्तमान में यह डिस्कॉम द्वारा वहन किया जाता है)

• Reduction in tariff subsidy burden (on energy charges) for agriculture consumers upto difference between the discovered levelized tariff and existing cost of supply at distribution end कृषि उपभोक्ताओं के लिए बिजली बिल पर टैरिफ अनुदान में कमी,
• Contribute towards achieving Distributed Generation target of 4000 MW by 2024-26 under Solar Policy 2019 सौर नीति 2019 के तहत 2024-25 तक वितरित उत्पादन लक्ष्य को 4,000 मेगावाट करने में योगदान।
